Is there anyone here who loves horseback riding? It seems like fun, but I have never tried it. As per other blog posts, “This is Baguio’s paradise for people who want to try horseback riding.” I tell you that a lot of horses will surround you. Since I am afraid of horses, we’ve just taken photos and roamed around.

5. THE MANSION

Right in front of Wright Park, just cross the street, and you’ll see THE MANSION. Inspired by Buckingham Palace, the Mansion was erected as the residence of the president of the Philippines during trips or events in Baguio. For security, tourists can only access the driveway near the gate and not any further. There is no other activity aside from taking photos, but it was nice to see personally this massive gate!

If you are that person who is not selective in terms of clothing, in short, you’re okay with using clothes from ukay ukay or want to save more, then let’s go to the night market! This is another addition to your Baguio City tour located at Harrison Road. Pasalubongs are also available here. As the clock strikes nine in the evening, Harrison Road becomes alive and festive, filled with thrift shops, food stalls, and much more. We went there around 20:00 just to ensure we were ready to enter before 21:00. Also, ensure extra care with your belongings, especially with your purse, wallets, and phones.

12. BENCAB MUSEUM

Art moves people. Museums nowadays are now getting known and popular. Before, I just looked at which are the best arts, but getting into it, digging more information, and knowing it further, It’s just a fantastic feeling how arts moved you, if you know what I’m saying. :) In my previous post, PINTO ART MUSEUM, “There’s something so soothing about the place and ambiance, and it brings me some calmness even for a while.” It brings such different meanings in life. If you are visiting Baguio, do not miss seeing one of the most famous museums in the country. The BenCab Museum is named after the main artist, painter, and printmaker Benedicto Reyes Cabrera. He is acclaimed as a master of contemporary Philippine art. Because of his incredible art, his works have been presented and exhibited across the country.

READ ME: PINTO ART MUSEUM IN RIZAL

BenCab Museum is divided into nine galleries: the BenCab Gallery, Maestro Gallery, Patio Salvador, Cordillera Gallery, Erotica Gallery, Larawan Hall, Philippine Contemporary Art Galleries, Print Gallery, and Sepia Gallery. Beautiful sculptures and masterpieces are displayed and well-admired. Everywhere I looked, pavements and doorways seemed to linger to reveal more hidden treasures.
There’s a stunning showcase of primordial tribal arts, statues, and figures. I felt so proud of being Filipino, especially when someone has been recognized and known for their good deeds, talents, and skills, like Mr. Cabrera and many more artists.
