Sand and Stars Glamping and Travel Guide | Aurora Province

Have you ever heard of this beach, or have you been here? Sand and Stars is one of the happiest beaches I’ve ever visited. It’s a bit far, but it’s worth the long drive/trip as soon as you arrive there. Don’t forget to write this on your travel list! Let me share some ideas and our experiences in this quick weekend escapade. If you are ready, just keep scrolling and enjoy reading this blog! :)

It feels like a reverie, tranquil, well-being, peaceful, and heavenly dream. The sun gleams on sparkling, and the solemn harmonies of the wind breeze upon harmonies fill calmness in my ears. The serenity that fills my heart. The sky is, as always, beautiful and brings you silence full of joy you can’t resist. Traveling is an immense adventure whenever, wherever. I am always with my friends who are also fond of traveling, and it’s fulfilling for me ’cause, for one of every first time, you are with them. Those endless laughter, countless stories, and exciting adventures are great attainments full of gladness and pleasure.

This is our first time to have this long trip; it’s tiring yet exciting! Before we went there, we arranged everything to avoid difficulty during our travel. We tried to reserved in advance our bus ticket to Baler, there are available slots for JOY bus but we opt to travel by late evening around 11:00PM so that we will arrive Aurora early. Unfortunately, GENESIS BUS doesn’t accept advance reservations; they are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. We went to Cubao after work, tried our luck, and YES, we got our bus reservation upon arrival at the bus station. We got our 11:00PM reservation on the standard bus. GENESIS bus is much cheaper than the JOY BUS. As I remember, there was only one bus stop, we arrived in Baler bus station at around 04:30AM the following day. It’s a 5 hours and 30 minutes drive.

Upon arrival at Genesis Bus Station, you just need to walk for 3-5min to reach Baler Bus Station, just beside the Baler Market. Kindly note that the first trip from Baler to Casiguran is 06:30AM; if you missed the bus, you must wait for Van. There’s also a tricycle and Van offering a trip directly to Sand and Stars, but expect it’s more expensive!

We left Baler at 06:30AM and asked the bus driver to drop us off at Sand and Stars. We arrived around 08:35AM. It’s really a long and tiring trip, but again, it’s worth the wait! Good thing ’cause Sand and Stars are just along the highway, and there’s a huge signboard, so the bus driver will definitely never miss this out!

Finally! Alas! After a long drive and wait, we finally arrived! Sand and Stars is such a wonderful place for me! It is situated at the far end of Dinadiawan Beach. I was really in awe and really amazed! I’ve been to many beaches before, but this was my first time experiencing glamping with a beautiful view of the beach.

  2. Hi! I have few concerns and will be greatly grateful if you can answer those.
    1. There’s no bus from Sand and Stars to Baler? I’m just wondering coz bus is available from Baler to Sand and Stars and I’m thinking that this is round trip.

    2. From Baler to Manila, is Genesis Bus available? If yes, do we still need to book online? As I know they are first come first serve basis.
