The book tells a powerful story of struggle, and personal growth and pulls the reader into the resolution and her comeback. Lina is an incredible storyteller, making us feel as if we were there. Telling a tale of a woman who marries a Muslim man and then converts to Christianity takes amazing courage.

I love that I can feel Liza’s deep down in my soul when reading this book. It brought me through many transformations, along with her. Her writing is so clear and easy to read, yet so complex giving you access directly to her emotions. This book is not just a memoir but a testament to the power of resilience, faith, and the unwavering strength of the human spirit.

I look forward to the possibility of her composing a “part 2” to gain insight into her current situation with her children. :)
